Italy is one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world, so it is likely that Leonardo Da Vinci could see vines from his window whilst having ideas way ahead of his time. However, there probabaly wasn't any prosecco around until a few hundred years later. This cute little prosecco is named in his honour, and it shows scents of lemons, honeysuckle and Granny Smith apples on the nose, whilst the palate is light with a kiss of sweetness, a slight spritz, mellow acidity, and a smooth finish. It's made for your immediate drinking pleasure, and would be great as an aperitif, or with fruit-based desserts.
